The National Pesticide Information Retrieval System (NPIRS) State Public website contains information pertaining to pesticides either
currently or previously licensed for distribution and sale in the United States and is provided for informational purposes only.
The Accepted Labels State Tracking and Repository (ALSTAR) application developed by NPIRS provides access to the electronic pesticide labels for products registered in participating states by ALSTAR companies.
ALSTAR states are identified by a gold star. A state's color denotes how current the state's data is. Dark blue states have current data in NPIRS. A state's color fades the farther the update date recedes from the current date until they become white.
White states have either no data or data greater than one year old. White states are not searchable.
Clicking on a state will bring up a box with that state's contact information. You can email the state contact by clicking on the email address. Clicking on the "Search Data" link will take you to that state's search page.
The map is zoomable using the plus and minus keys in the upper left hand corner of the map.
The home button returns the map to it's default size and position. Clicking on the Labels tab will toggle the state labels. Clicking on the Legend tab will open and close the map legend.
If your state's registration data is not searchable, contact your state agency and request that they send their current pesticide registration data to NPIRS.
There is no charge to the states to be included on this website.
